This refrigerator is the best.

We have had a lot of refrigerators in our 62 years of marriage but this one is by far the best one ever. Quieter, everything about it is better, more storage areas. better cooling, two ice makers,.... Just name it and it is better. And the looks are very good, and it fits in the kitchen very well. The controls and temperatures on the outside of the door are great, making it so simple to see how it is doing.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Bright and lively

The lighting is far and beyond our old side by side GE.
The combination of the bright LED lights and the open shelves make it easier to arrange and find things.
If you leave the frig open for too long, it wil "nag" you with some soft chimes.

If you decide to get an LG, make sure you pay the 5 year protection plan. Ours lasted a bit over 3 years. We did not have the plan and the personnel who repairs these say it would cost too much to fix. It is not a question of if it breaks down but when.
It worked well for about 2 years, then the freezers started getting ice buildup, then eventually just quit.
I liked the ice maker, but it broke as well. From what we were told, parts are hard to get.

I really Love this Fridge, I would like to say if you are looking to get a refund from the Electric Co. Mine said this 1 does not qualify. I really Like the slide shelf, I love the Blue light around the Air Filter. I had a limited space to put this in. I am so Happy I got this 1. a Ton of room in the Bottom Freezer.

Ice maker in door

We are totally remodeling our kitchen & needed a new refrig that the ice maker would not freeze up or stop working & we found this LG had the ice maker in the door, totally enclosed so no air gets to it when that side of the frig is open. This helps keep the ice from slowly melting & getting into one big clump at the bottom of the icemaker. We also thought our other refrigs were big inside but this one has sooooo much room. We are so pleased with it & would purchase another LG if we need to.

This Refrigerator is the best one I have ever had. I love all the room in the fridge. Adjustable tempered glass shelves make it easy to see where everything is. There is more room on the top shelf because the ice maker is in the door. My grandson especially loves the ice and water on the outside of the door. This feature makes it easier to fill tall drinking bottles as it is longer than other models. Having two freezer doors makes it convenient to access the things you use most often in the top door (like ice cream). The motor runs very quietly.

Wonderful design

I bought this 3 months ago and love it. I needed a narrower refrigerator and this is perfect for my space. It has a great interior design and is more spacious than I anticipated.

Exciting Fridge

I never thought I would get excited over a fridge... I love it. Fruit and veggie drawers are saving me money by keeping the food fresher longer. Love double freezer. I have a bad back so I keep my most used freezer food in the upper drawer and the rest lower. More than happy with this purchase
