[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator since 2015 it was working beautifully until Oct 4th 2021 The freezer stopped working ugh I had expected it to last for a long time. We had done everything we can to get it working again. Took apart the back lower panel and cleaned out the area and the coils to see if that was the reason unplugged fridge for 24 hours nothing . So now we have an expensive fridge that is now useless. All my frozen food spoiled hundreds of dollars worth of meat gone!!! Soooo disappointed in this fridge. Won't buy LG and of course our extended warranty expired of course.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My LG has been a problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator around 2016 and we were willing to pay a premium price for a premium product.
The original compressor failed around 2019 and the replacement compressor failed in 2021. Both failures were addressed by LG in a reasonable amount of time. After 4 compressor engineering updates and I’m sure countless compressor replacements, some under warranty, LG seems to have fixed the compressor problems, but spoiled their reputation.
On the bright side, we don’t have any complaints about their customer service or their factory tech service. We like the refrigerator itself, but it has not proven to be reliable. Hopefully, after this latest compressor replacement, we can expect a long life from the unit.
