[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really liked this fridge for the first 2.5 years, and then the compressor went out. Took a month to get it replaced and the next day the new compressor started making noise. 2 weeks later compressor #3 was installed and it worked great, for about 2 weeks, then it stopped staying cold. 2 more weeks and LG replaced the fans. We have no faith left in this unit and don’t know when it will break again. Really a shame as all of our other LG products are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy I bought the extended warranty - shocked that I had to use it 3.5 years into a new fridge. The compressor and other parts went. I bought this fridge because I was very limited to the space I have. I found out (after the fact) that this is just a so-so fridge because the compressor gives out too soon - hence why I had to get it repaired. Our repairman was great. He ordered the parts and we got them by the following week, was able to move our appt without hassle. A&E Service was great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had to replace the compressor. While it fit in the space it was too tight and only had a couple of inches on the top to get air. I believe that's why the compressor had to be replaced. I have now opened up the wall some and it gets air from both sides also. Hope this helps others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had problems with my LG refrigerator. Some of the bins or shelving have cracked. I replaced them by paying for new ones since they weren’t covered by the warranty and those cracked as well. The compressor stopped working and I had to throw away all the food from the freezer and refrigerator- as of yet no compensation from LG for this loss. They did extend my warranty and pay for the repair parts and labor so I appreciate them standing behind their product by fixing a common issue that they have with their refrigerators.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure why I’ve been asked to write a review on a 7 year old purchase. The condenser went bad and had to be replaced during the warranty period. It was addressed by LG support and has worked since then.
