I bought this refrigerator slightly over 5 years ago. The compressor failed almost 5 years to the day. Then, at approximately 5 years and 2 months of ownership the flap in the French door broke. I am disappointed in the build quality of this fridge. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old LG compressor stopped working after only 6 yrs. Many repair places will not work on LG refrigerators. Purchased new refrigerator 'LG' . Looks good. Only issue is that the shelving are not very adjustable. Need to store large milk . juice etc on door not on shelves

We have had more problems with it than any before. When we got it we had electric board problems. We had ice marker fail. We had the ice marker leak 3 different time. We had the compressor go out. It is a good thing we had extended warranty.
