Love the Design-not built to last

We picked the LG fridge because we liked the style, interior and exterior.
Sadly, after less than three years, we had to replace the compressor.
The one redeeming aspect for LG was that the repair was completely covered under our warranty and repair was done fairly quickly by a courteous LG repair person.

Six years no problem, then overnight condenser went out. Worked with LG to get it repaired. Now it is working fine again. Was repaired with KG parts. The fridge is quiet. I don't like the frequency at which I have to change the filters. I love to two drawer freezer section. The ice maker is fast but the basket is small. Overall, this is a good unit.

We bought this less than 3 years ago and it’s not cooling. There’s no support because it’s discontinued. It’s made a grinding noise since day 1. Will never buy another LG appliance.
