We've got our LG refrigerator eight years ago when we remodeled our kitchen and when it needed repairs we didn't hesitate to have it repaired by an authorized LG technician. The features of our French Door, freezer on the bottom model have more than met our needs--from adjustable shelving that is easy to clean to a freezer compartment that allows separation of items for ease of retrieval.

Nice refrigerator, but the compressor breaks down TOO often. Give LG credit, they were able to fix the refrigerator the first time that my ref broke down free of charge. But after 7 years the second time that it broke down, they only send me a new compressor and mother board to replace them myself. I had to hire a local guy to fix it. Hopefully it will last me 5 more years as my wife liked and choose this ref.

Stopped working after we lost power 3 times in a week. I miss the days when something was built to last. It was good while it worked.

I’ve had the LG refrigerator for six years. In that time, the black finish has failed with general use, the ice maker works inconsistently, and the compressor died. They did cover the warranty without issue. Hi
