Trouble warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I love how large the unit is. You can easily arrange the shelves to accommodate containers of any size. It is easy to access the air and water filter. Cons: Ice-maker is small and we often run out of ice, even when turbo mode is on. Our unit has had to be serviced twice within 5 years, both times losing an entire fridge/freezer worth of food. It's making sounds again and the freezer is frosting over, again, so I expect another service visit is coming in the near future. I would not recommend this or any LG appliance (our other appliances have also had issues).

It stopped freezing after 7 years

Horrible

This unit crapped out after the first year, but as it was under warranty we had it repaired. Crapped out again a few years later, and finally gave up the ghost after 9 years. Equally bad experiences with other LG appliances we bought at the same time.

This EXPENSIVE refrigerator failled at less than three years. After repair, which took forever, it lasted two more years and then failed again. Repair only kept it going for 2 weeks and it failed again. Last repair lasted two days.
