It is nice and bright Isidro and it is easy to access everything in it, for both the refrigerator and freezer sections. The ice maker works great without taking up much space. It does show more finger smudges that I expected and the water station pedal has scratches on it already. It probably would have been beneficial to have left the protective plastic cover on it, but I thought it was just for shipping purposes. Very roomy! Overall I like it!

Huge fridge with great space and excellent LED lig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a side by side Whirlpool with this unit. I had a real hard time finding a unit that was 33 1/2 wide and not to tall or deep. This unit fit my space perfectly and is huge compared to my old unit. The way this fridge is laid out is perfect. LG makes great use of space here. The hidden ice maker is great but does make that inside part of the door with very small shelves. But its still fine for many things because there is more than enough space in the 24.2 CU ft of interior. Fridge runs relatively quiet as well. I also love the fact each door opens independently pf each other. I never had a French door fridge so Im not sure if they all do that or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are features that we definitely like about the refrigerator such as the french doors, but we have concerns about many more things so could not give it a good rating. If we did not need, or use, much ice in a day, we could probably give it a 4 star rating; however, we enjoy using lots of ice. The compartment barely holds a day's worth for us and the cubes are small so they melt much faster. It makes about 8 small cubes in 12 hours which is certainly not acceptable to us. To have to buy ice seems unacceptable considering the price of a new refrigerator. The paddle to press for water should be concave to better adjust a glass under it. It would also be nice if the deli drawer was divided since we must open both doors to access it which seems like a waste of energy. A smudgeproof stainless would have really been a good idea. Stainless is extremely difficult to keep fingerprint free! At our age we have more important things to do than trying to polish prints off our refrigerator daily.

Hello Jumbo15, the unit is question should make an average 2.4 lbs of ice a day if properly installed with the correct water supply. The water pressure must be between 40 and 120 psi to make normal amount and size of ices. Ice is made in the automatic icemaker and sent to the dispenser. The automatic icemaker can make 10 or 12
ice cubes (depending on your device) at a time, above 100 cubes per 24-hour period. This quantity may vary by circumstance, including freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings, freezer load, and other operating conditions. If the water psi is good and the temp is fine, please give us a call at 1-800-243-0000 so that we may perform the additional troubleshooting. ^AC

Ice Maker is a probelm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last year and the ice-maker constantly clogs and is too small. Often, we have to take it apart to clear out the chute that clogs up all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it since. The set up to dispense ice and water took a little getting used too. I like the shape, how it keeps everything at the right temperature, and the organization of the bottom freezer area. I also like the smoothness of the drawers when opening and closing. They aren't made of cheaper materials you find in other fridges. I don't like the small amount of ice it makes each time or the length it takes to make the ice, but I knew that going in or that you can't lock the display temperatures without locking the water/ice machine area.
I miss the middle deli drawer being a separate 3rd drawer, which we had on our prior fridge. Sadly, with our doors we weren't able to order that same fridge, or I would have. However, this is a nice second option.
