Are you kidding me?!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compressor on this refrigerator died in the first week and the second one just died after 24 months! What a colossal waste of money! And don't get me started on the mess that it made on my hardwood floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker to small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful refrigerator,seems well made. Main complaint is the small in door ice maker. The total capacity can be used up filling 2-16oz glasses, then you need to wait another 8 hours or so to fill the reservoir. Black Stainless finish is nice.

Compressor Failed under 3yo

Purchased 1/17. Ice maker failed 7/19 and now freezer drawers not cooling 8/19.
Not going to bother with trying to repair. No authorized service people anywhere near by and independent repair techs won’t touch LG or Samsung fridges. A expensive lesson learned. Will never purchase another LG product. It’s been known for years that the compressor fails.

Died after 4 years

We bought this refrigerator 4 years ago and just recently (during a pandemic no less) it died. I initially thought My kids had left the freezer open over night, but after the day that followed everything had become warm and inedible. My fridge literally died. I paid a lit of money for this and have LG washer and dryers, but clearly refrigerators aren’t their specialty. I also found out they don’t service in my area. It’s a pandemic..I have 2 kids and a husband...times are hard. I now have no fridge. I’m suffering. Thanks LG. Always thought your quality was higher than this. Disappointed. (As you can see, my fridge looks new and appears to be new, but died...4 years..awful...and that’s my spoiled food from said fridge...that’s only partial ugh!)

The best refrigerator I found 33" wide

Shopped several stores for a fridge after the old one died. It had to fit in a space 34" with which eliminated all the 36" wide models. This one was the best I found with the features , size and quality I wanted. I bought it two months ago and it's been working perfect in every respect.

To start, the LED lights are marvelous. The one on the door acts as a night light for the kitchen area. The unit is super quiet. We've left the temperature set to the factory default settings & find this is just perfect. The ease of the door openings also please us. This is the first french door refrigerator we've owned. Now we wonder why we didn't get it sooner. The spaces on the doors are also very nice for our drinks. Thank you for this quality unit.

Slim SpacePlus® Ice System is a disappointment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted an ice maker in door. However with there slim design it doesn't keep up with our usage. There is just the two of us. We've even tried to dump the ice in reserve in the evening in hopes that we could create a back log of ice. But that hasn't worked either. So we have started purchasing bags of ice. Other than the ice maker keeping ice coming the refrigerator is great. Love the french doors and being able to view whats in the refrigerator. The freezer is great also being able to look into the freezer to get what I need. We love ice and want our ice maker to keep up. I'm writing this review because when I was researching this refrigerator no one mentioned the lack of keeping the ice coming.
