This was a beautiful fridge and I love the water and ice but the compressor went out after five years and the cost to replace it was more than a new fridge. I will no longer be buying LG appliances. Very disappointed.

Freezer Has Died Twice

I bought this fridge in 2018. My house has some odd sized spaces for appliances, and this was the only fridge that I could find that fit into the available space. Since I bought it, the freezer has died twice. I have had to throw away 2 full freezers of food. The only positive is that the repairs were covered by warranty, and I didn't have to pay extra. I have been really frustrated with this fridge.

Worst buy ever

The worst buy I have ever made. It makes a constant buzzing sound that is driving me crazy. We had reparators come to fix it but they couldn't find anything. They adjusted it so it's slightly better but as soon as we have to move the fridge to clean it comes back.
It should be illegal to charge this much for something that works so bad.
Never. LG. Again.

Wish I could give zero stars

The compressor broke in our refrigerator. A new part was sent but I had to pay for the labor for it to be installed. Compressor keeps shutting off after a few minutes instead of holding temperature. Tech said it was another bad compressor. LG is willing to send another compressor but refuses to pay for the labor to reinstall a replacement part. Can't stand behind their product for 2 weeks!

Overpriced and Unreliable?

This unit replaced our 6 year-old LG fridge that went out while we were on vacation, ruining all of our food. We only purchased another LG because it was the only one available with the same size and features as before.
Unfortunately, the new fridge was almost $1000 more. The doors feel flimsier and the water dispenser doesn't have a grille like the old one did, so water gets all over the place.
Also, the other two LG appliances we purchased 6 years ago (Oven and Microwave) also broke previously. Not reliable at all.
