i think glide and serve drawer would be more friendly if it were two and each side accessed without opening both doors to use..not to energy efficient

Been using for about a month now and have nothing negative to say. I thought by other reviews I wouldn't like the long drawer but no issues. Love how the ice maker take up such little space. I also like the double freezer drawers. Love the adjustable shelves. I can strongly recommend!

We had a side by side and I have really enjoyed being able to see all my food clearly. Took sometime to get used to all the features but overall love the product.

This is a great refrigerator with lots of room and great features. We love the two door freezer. The upper works great for items we need more often, like pre-mixed fruit for smoothies. That leaves the larger, bottom freezer for items we need less often and thus we don't open the whole freezer as often than if we had only one drawer. The French doors are great and close wonderfully. The only thing is it would have been nice to be able to open the right (facing) bin with only opening one door, but no big deal.

I am not one to write reviews but this refrigerator is one of the best I have owned over the last 20+ years. The amount of room in the top section is excellent and the double freezer feature works great for our family. We recently had a family reunion at our house and the refrigerator/freezer was opened and closed several times daily. We had no issues with defrosting products, capacity, freezing over, or loss of food. The unit stayed cold and still ran efficiently.
Highly efficient and great capacity for the price.

LG has definitely improved the french door line

We purchased a new french door model that corrects annoying deficiencies of an earlier version: no more freezing temps in vegetable & fruit bins, no more ice jams in ice dispenser, and no wearing out of the french door seals (since the re-design provides a hinged panel that overlaps the inside of each door as it closes). The only nit we have is the longer time required to dispense a water (due to a slower flow rate). Otherwise we are very pleased with the overall performance and functional improvements.

We had an old refrigerator that was in our house when we bought it 5 years ago. I can tell you my wife was ecstatic when it started leaking and having problems. She has always wanted a French door refrigerator for the shelving space, but when she saw the two freezer drawers there was no changing her mind.
She loves the slim ice making system in the door and that was a major factor in choosing LG.
