Great to have two dwars for frezing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We continue to marvel at how great it looks in out home. The brushed stainless steel cleans up betteer than any orther product. The filters are placed in a way that there are no problems when they need replacement.

This is my second LG French door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG French for refrigerator. The LG outside deminsios are the only refrigerator that will fit into my space. The old one is still working but now in the garage because I was unwilling to pay for a second failed ice maker after also replacing the main capacitor at 5.5 years and the ice maker valve and the rubber seal around the door etc... I purchased the extended 5yr warranty but all these things failed between the 5th and 7th year. The door seal lasted less than 3 years but was not covered by the warranty. The new one has an improved design so at least the door seal should last.
I like the features and design of the new model and and hopefully the quality has improved. I purchased the extended warranty just in case. I am happy with this new unit so far but I have to admit that I purchased it holding my nose.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this purchase. This was replacing a 15 year old side by side. This has great use of space and the ice maker is cubes!! No more stupid lemon shaped ice to fight with when enjoying a cocktail.

Best features and best price but unexpected sides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator had the best features and the best price of any we looked at. We wanted a stainless steel refrigerator to match the new countertops we had installed. However, when the refrigerator arrived, it turned out that the sides were not stainless steel like the front, but were gray plastic which did not match the countertops very well. We called to see if they had an option for stainless steel sides and were told that none of the models had that. Unfortunately, the stores that sell the refrigerators place them all side by side so you cannot see the sides and everyone merely assumes the sides match the front which is obviously mot correct.

I was concerned about space because we had to purchase a smaller width but the depth more than made up the difference. I believe I have more space now than I did before. We are enjoying it and will purchase LG appliances in the future!
