Beautiful and efficient

Excellent design, well made and very stylish. We needed the extra room and also wanted a freezer section that provided easy access to foods without having to dig through it to find what we needed. After 2 months of use, we're very happy with our decision and our sales rep was very informative so we received a lot of information not only on line but also directly from our sales rep that helped answer a lot of questions. Very pleased.

Fortunately, I had the extended warranty and due to the fact that the power board was on back order the store gave me a brand new one instead. The new refrigerator is now 8 months old and the compressor is dead. 2 nonfunctional units in 2 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased my unit February of 2015 within the 4 months until was building out ice in the refrigerator and fortunately for the warranty they came out and fixed it by replacing the computer and the vent system. Now 2 year later it broke again no cold in the freezer or in the refrigerator and all the food spoiled, water leaked all over the floor. Looking to get it fixed again but would not buy LG again and suggest you not buy it as well.

Water and ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is awful. Ice gets stuck. This morning we came downstairs and the water was coming out of the water supply for no reason. It flooded our kitchen and dripped into the basement ruining one of our computer monitors.

Nothing but a headache

I bought this less than two years ago and had nothing but trouble with cooling fans and icing up . Have had repair people 4 times and again another error code showed up this week (9/22/17).

Failed parts

Refrigerator defrost fan and freezer defrost fan and control panel have been replaced and god knows what else with this third service call. Do not buy this refrigerator as it it is plagued by part failures.

Linear Compressor went bad, hard to repair

The linear compressor went out on this product about 2 1/2 years after purchase. The local authorized repair shops are either not setting up more appointments or are booking out 2 1/2 weeks for service calls due to all of the linear compressors that are failing.
LG should provide customers a better warranty on this product and should stop selling products that contain parts that have a high rate of failure and a high cost to fix!
