Compressor issue

Bought brand new and after 2 years the compressor went! When the repair man came out he said they’ve been fixing a ton of these over and over!! Too much money spent on this to have an issue so new, will never buy LG again!
Pros: ease of use

Quit in 3 years

For what I spent I should have a fridge that last forever. My old fridge lasted over 20 years and was still working when I "upgraded" to this one. Went totaly out right after the extended warenty. Would not buy again. I could have bought two of my other fridges for the cost of this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been utilizing refrigerator for 1 1/2 months and find that it is so much easier to use. No more having freezer items falling out like they did in our old unit. Space saving ice making and water is a big plus and tremendous improvement over our prior refrigerator. Shelving is ample, flexible with superior lighting thanks to the LED’s. The fine finish really accents our kitchen.

Compressor failed twice in 3.5 years

This is a terrible product. It is typical LG. The compressor failed when it was only 2.5 years. It was replaced, and it failed again one year later. I will never buy LG. Our dishwasher has many issues a well. Their service is also bad.

Horrible Refrigerator

I bought 3.5 years ago and the compressor went out a month ago. Has been a nightmare to get fixed under the warranty. They set appointment for 8 hour window then cancel. Do not buy a LG refrigerator with a linear compressor, many friends with negative experience too.
