[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in 2015 and have had to have service on it anually to defrost coil. Then just recently , May 2021 , the compressor and evaporator failed. LG was kind enough to repair it for free but no telling how long it will last at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We loved the size, the options and other features. We were not happy with it failing in less than 18 months of service. Had quite few service trips and new compressors, evaporators, coils and even control board flash upgrades and then replacement. After waiting 6 mths to get it working again we bought another maker...
