Clearly Compressor problems!

Bought this refrigerator 5 years ago... Like many of these recent reviews my compressor has just died. Lost all my food and now trying to find my receipt for repair but I'm questioning if that is even worth it by these other reviewers and chronic problems. LG needs to stand by their product and something is clearly wrong that around 5 years (like clockwork) compressors fail. Reading all these same problems in the reviews is very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge back in October of 2015 and it was solid. Everything was good, it was a good size, kept everything cold. But out of the blue everything started leaking and we lost a lot of food because the compressor died after only 5 years of use.

The Worst

Had this refrigerator 4 years and within the 4yrs we have had the compressor replaced twice and now the refrigerator is not cooling again and the ice maker is not working. I cannot even think about purchasing another LG appliance. LG knew they had issues with their compressors and should have replaced all these refrigerators to make good on their product but that never happened. Not even going to discuss how much $ we lost in food. At this point we will be purchasing another brand refrigerator. Think twice when you think about LG. They do not back their product. What a complete waste of money!
