However, we have had to replace several operating main components in a short period of time. The compressor, the evaporator coil and dryer system. Most refrigerators last for years. We started experiencing issues within the 1st year and every year after. It's scary wondering if it is going to break again. I love LG product and I am one their biggest fan. But I think this model was a poor design.

Good Fridge but not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Fridge new in 2016. Recently the compressor failed. It was very frustrating. The only saving grace was that LG, knowing they have horrible compressors, decided to extend the warranty to 5 years, so we got our fridge repaired at no charge. Very much appreciated the simple process LG customer service provided, and hopefully we get at least another 5 years out of the fridge.

Worst product on teh market period!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last three years this piece of antiquated equipment has failed to include sensors, the compressor times two and replaced, and now a day after the compressor was replaced yesterday (waited two moths for that) the fan has seized.
