like many describe. compressor not reliable

I bought this 4 years ago and the stainless steel is a mess and the compressor failed. I have to rig the factory approved water filters so they don't leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all this was purchased in 2016. After 6 months the condenser had to be replaced!!! For the last 2 yrs I have had a problem with the ice maker that , occasionally, required me to melt the ice on the outside of the ice cube bucket so I could remove it and remove the cubes that had it jammed up. Just had it serviced as it was leaking Freon. Additionally the design of the water and ice dispenser always has everyone confused. And the finish always shows streaks and marks

Great Features. Poor refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is only six years old. Compressor and computer system replaced at 3 years due to a complete shut down of systems. About 2 months ago ref Refrigerator stopped working again. Found clogged drains that were poorly constructed causing refrigerator failure. Thankfully handy husband fixed and working properly again, but now it has some kind of vibrating noise that is highly annoying! Tried leveling adjusting the noise stops just to start again with a vengeance! AWFUL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator was great until it started to not cool. This happened probably 3-4 years after purchased. Then again just recently it happened again only this time they replaced the compressor. It works now but it’s 5 times louder. Probably about 400-500 dollars worth of food has gone bad in the two times.

Ice maker took quite a while to produce ice. Although roomy on the inside there is limited mobility for the shelves. There are only three positions available while the previous fridge had many more options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge in Dec. 2015. It has needed repair 5 times since March 2019. Either the fridge stopped cooling or the freezer stopped. They have replaced the condenser 2x, the compressor 2x, fans, and other parts in the ice maker. Just had it repaired two weeks ago for not cooling properly in the fridge and freezer (AGAIN) and now the ice maker is not dispensing ice. SIGH! I have lots countless $$ in wasted food.
I do have to say that customer service has been wonderful in having someone come out and repair...every time. BUT, now that it's over 5 years old we now have to foot all repair costs. Kinda feel like that is unfair since this is an inferior product. Truly wish I could get another fridge at this point. I just feel like it should have lasted longer given the initial purchase cost. Geez...they certainly don't make them like they used to. I'm pretty sure my mom had a fridge that lasted over 20 years before it had a problem.
