Repeated compressor failures

Repeated compressor failures. Lost hundreds in groceries. Warranty dept not helpful and wouldn't lemon it after several repairs and replacements. Will never buy LG fridge again.

The worst

Omg so many problems with this fridge! Twice we had a repair for linear compressor under warranty. Now the warranty is over and we have error ErF - it seems evaporator fan stopped working. We have it for 5 years and almost every year there is something wrong with it. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommended. I will never buy LG appliances ever!

For some reason, LG thinks I bought a new refrigerator, but I didn't. I had mine serviced (new compressor).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure why they are asking to leave a review. LG got my email because I’m getting this fridge fixed for the 3rd time in the 4.5 years I’ve owned it. Going on 4 weeks without a working fridge. They just keep replacing parts..
Give it an extra star because the ice maker design but not sure it make up for the weeks I’ve been without a fridge as a family of 4.

I bought this refrigerator 10/17. 6 years later it is no longer working....a balmy 70 degrees inside. LG emailed me repair companies and NOT ONE will repair an LG refrigerator in the state of Vermont. Been waiting 10 days for LG to decide how to handle this. On the positive side, LG has been good about paying for a minifridge and reimbursed for some food loss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model stopped cooling within four years. It was repaired many times because it was under warranty and still had issues with compressor and computer boards. Even the freezer light. It also made a lot of noises.
