Very poor quality product

I purchased this Refrigerator in 2015. This product turned out to be a lemon. Very poor quality and constant problems. The product is designed to fail so that LG can make money on repairs. Looks like that is the strategy LG is using to dupe the customer in US. Had several problems in the past. So far I have spent over $900 in repairs. After the delivery of the Refrigerator, within two weeks they had to replace the Control board because the Vegetable/fruit drawer was having humidity control issue. Then in 3 1/2 years(2019) the compressor failed and they had to replace it and I incurred about $300 loss in food product. Then in 5 1/2 years(2021) the Ice Dispenser stopped working and was replaced. Then in 2023 Defrost Sensor and Fan failed and had ice build up and fan noise issues. They had to replace that also. I sent a letter to LG about the quality of their product and LG Presidential Liaison contacted me. She was very rude to me on phone and offered me $100 as a compensation. They sent me a check for $100, but I returned the check back to LG. Even my LG Microwave failed in 7 years and the cost to repair quoted by LG was more than buying a new Unit, so I ended up buying a new unit. I will never buy any LG products again. I had to give 1 star rating because there is no option for 0 Star.

Terrible Refridgerator

I bought this refrigerator 6 1/2 years ago and had nothing but problems. The computer panel had to be replaced, the ice maker had to be repaired and 3 compressors were all bad and had to be replaced.

Faulty Compressor Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible. Linear compressor keeps failing. At this point I am not even messing with LG and I am just buying a non-LG refrigerator and happily paying someone to haul this junk away. I will never buy another LG refrigerator nor recommend them.

If I could give it zero stars, I'd do it. I'm on my THIRD compressor, lost 3 full refrigerators/ freezers full of food, and LG could care less. I'll never buy this brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic -I have had 3 LG refrigators because I have moved twice. Have never had a problem. The freezer holds the temperature without a problem. Doors are tight. Water and ice dispensers put out clean water and ice.
