[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one year of use it unable to make ice, display show is E and L1, but no any directory in manual to result. Very bad for LG brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 1.5 years ago. For the first year, the ice maker always caused the problems. It never made more than 10 ice cubes. I got technician to fix it like 5 times (they changed the whole refrigerator which included computer, ice maker, fan and so on) but problem never solved. I still hardly get any ice now but I am too tired to call, schedule and stay home for technician to come. I chose to let it go since too much hassle. Then recently, I started noticing that my fridge was not as cool as it was before. My foods got spoiled so fast even with the same setting. Then I found out ice deposited all over the middle part of fridge (not the freezer) mostly around the computer of the fridge. After unplugged, let it melt and cleaned it. It was good for a couple months and every thing started all over again. Now not only the ice make does not work, the whole refrigerator is in a bad shape.It is frustrated that I paid so much money for a product like that. Such an bad experience with LG.

I did a ton of research before purchasing this refrigerator and was skeptical about every one I was considering as there was at least one bad review on each. I was concerned with the ice maker and the food being frozen in the fridge, but I have had my LG for 8 months now and have had no issues and I couldn't be happier. I love the 3 drawers in the freezer as it makes it easier to find things and the stainless is much easier to polish than my previous fridge. The fridge portion is huge, so I rarely have to put items in my garage fridge. If you are considering this fridge/freezer, I would definitely recommend it...love. love, love mine!

Initially I loved the refrigerator. It only worked 1 1/2 years before the compressor went out Thanksgiving weekend!

The Best Size for Us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a year ago so I've had time to evaluate it. I thought 30 cu. ft. would be too big but it ends up being the right size. We can now fill it with the 12 pack cartons, milk gallons, pizza box leftovers, and a lot of produce. The freezer has enough space and the right drawer configuration to keep things sorted. I don't have to dig through frozen food to get to the bottom. I just keep stuff separated by drawer. It's quieter than our old refrigerator except for one thing. Sometimes it makes a popping sound when the cooling coils are done with their defrost cycle. I'm told others make this sound as well. I use a 3M stainless steel cleaner to keep the doors clean. There has been no increase in my electric bills even though this is larger than the refrigerator it replaced.
Pros: Features/Settings, easy to use

Have had problems with the vegetable draw since I have had it. It keeps freezing up on me. The ice has busted the side piece off of the wall. I have to keep rags instead of the drawer in the spot in order to keep the water from running down my refrigerator onto my floor. Won't own another one!!!
