Died 5 years after purchase

Big capacity...but positives stop there. Annually I would have to remove everything out and remove back panel so that the ice formation could melt around the coils that got so large that the ice would stop the circulation fan from moving thus showing an error code. Now at pretty much exactly 5 years from date of purchase, the cooling system is not working at all. Really LG??!! Your product only lasts 5 years after a hefty price tag! Not impressed.

No longer cooling. LG's makes it overly difficult to get warranty support - it's 5 years on the cooling system!

Many issues for only being 18 mos. old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased LFXS30726M fridge on 1/9/19. Had to have service for water leak at filter area on 3/4/2020. Noticed water leaking again from same filter area on 8/1/2020 and now fridge stopped all cooling on 8/6/2020. This unit is only 18 months old! Warranty service is still 6 or 7 days out. Can't wait. Called local LG authorized repair outfit. Hopefullt it's only the compressor relay and nothing more...

DOES NOT COOL. =(

We moved into a home with new LG appliances, which included this refrigerator model. After TWO MONTHS the fridge and freezer stopped cooling. Food went bad. Time and energy wasted trying to fix the problem. After reading these reviews, seems like this is a reoccurring problem with this model. DON'T waste your money on this!!!!

I hate this refrigerator

We have had this refrigerator for approx 4 years. We have had the ice maker worked on twice. Every 6 months or so we need to empty it and defrost it because ice builds up under the deli drawer and our repairman told us the only way to fix it is to leave it unplugged for 24 hours so all the ice melts. As the ic3 builds, it freezes everything in the deli drawer. The deli drawer lid had some liquid spill on it and it gets under the plastic and is impossible to clean. Although there is lots of space, there is very little room for tall items and it’s hard to keep it organized.
This is our second LG fridge and it will definitely be our last. It’s frustrating when you spend so much money on what you thought was a good refrigerator and you have nothing but problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the refrigerator and it's features. Too bad we had to have the entire cooling system replaced after using for just under 3 years. We bought a suite of LG appliances when we redid our kitchen. Prior to the refrigerator breaking our brand new LG oven's heating component broke and we have to have that replaced. After having 2 new LG appliances break within months of each other and the inconvenience of waiting for repairs, I will have to think long and hard before I buy another LG appliance.
