Have to replace after 5 years

I bought this 5 years ago. Compressor has-been changed twice and it has a refrigerant leak in a sealed system and cannot be fixed. The temperature goes too high and takes forever to cool down. Very disappointing. I hope LG has fixed these issues and improved the refrigerator.

Worst appliance I ever bought

Two years after purchase, the compressor went. I was notified of a class action law suit, filed a claim, and never collected a cent. Now, the compressor is bad again and I am awaiting the repairs. Again..big bucks

Compressor failed in only 6 years

I bought this in 2016. The compressor has already failed. Scheduling repair service with LG certified technicians would take several weeks. We could not wait that long to have no refridgerator or freezer. So, we had to buy a new refrigerator - no way was the replacement a LG! Extremely disappointed. Several friends also had similar experiences with their LG refrigerators - one only got 4 years service before having to replace it for a failed compressor.

A product that does not hold up to what you paid.

Something is wrong with the refrigerator or the compressors. I should not have to pay for a faulty refrigerator. Highly disappointed in the company for not honoring it's product and selling a product with a known defect.

Compressor failure at 4.5 years old

Just what the title says. 4.5 years old and compressor failure. Luckily we kept our old refrigerator which is much older than this one that has not had compressor failure, otherwise we would have lost everything in our fridge. I don't know that I'd ever buy an LG refrigerator again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
