Great sound quality. Compatible. Fills room.

I've had this speaker for a few months (the black one) and I absolutely love it!!! The sound quality is great and can fill an entire room beautifully without turning it up to full blast. I'm able to connect it with my audio technica turntable which is great because it has an auxiliary input! Also does great when connecting to my I phone 6 via Bluetooth, as soon as I turn it on its connected.

Was awesome still it stopped working!

I haven't has this for too long and it wont charge anymore or turn on. I thought Bose products were great, now I'm not so sure.

We'd be disappointed, too. We can definitely help you with this.
Let's begin with a speaker reboot, to do so please connect the speaker to power, press and hold the Play/Pause button for at least 15 seconds, then while continuing to hold Play/Pause, unplug from power. Release Play/Pause. Now, when you reconnect to power the speaker should be working properly.
You might also visit our support site at updates.Bose.com/SoundLinkColor to be sure you have the most recent software.
If after doing so the issue persists, please contact our technical service team at 1-800-379-2073 for help. Support hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST.

Disappointed

I have been purchasing Bose ever since I started with the Wave Radio...many moons ago. (which btw, still works like new) I was so amazed with the sound quality, I had to get the Home Theatre Surround Sound ...fantastic! (surround not working anymore, but have not looked into why) However - had I not purchased this Sound Link speaker myself, I would have never believed that the sound was coming out of a Bose product. What a disappointment! At first, I tried to convince myself that I wasn't hearing distortion, after all it is Bose, right? Then I had a friend stop by for me to listen to his new wireless speaker...blew the Bose right out of the water and for $20 less. Next, I hear my brother-in-laws new wireless...better than perfect sound quality for $10 more. Needless to say, I am not happy with this purchase.

Weak battery

Poor quality / weak battery. After like 4 months of use this speaker practically stopes functioning as portable since it has to be continuously charged in order to use it.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with the SoundLink color and would definitely like to help. The battery is designed to last for years, so you should still be able to charge it and use it as a portable device, especially after 4 months. Bose products purchased from authorized retailers carry a one-year warranty and it sounds like it may still be under that.

Great Product

Received this from my wife for my birthday. Absolutely love it. I take it everywhere and throw it in my backpack when traveling. No more worries about not having my music when staying in various hotels. Still have my Bose Wave radio purchased in 1995 and it is as good as the day I bought it. What a great product and Company!

Great Sound for size

I have had the speaker for 2 years now, and it is well worth the $130. It has great sound (even a little bass), it is durable and most important it is portable! It also has 6-8 hr battery life IT IS A MUST BUY!

Worth buying.

I have been using this product everyday, and it's always impressive to use whatever genre I listened to. I am very particular with overall quality so I have been very selective on buying any product regardless how cheap or expensive it is as long as it meets my needs. I saw and tried a lot of premium Bluetooth speakers with so much features that it losses the prime purpose which is the pleasure of listening. But with this product, it focuses on that goal: give you what you wanted to hear. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bose quality in question?

In the past I've always been happy with Bose quality & sound and for the first few months it was the same with my Soundlink. Unfortunately the buttons started to become unresponsive and eventually quit working altogether. After a little over 1 year it became a paperweight.
