Disappointed

I bought this product almost a year ago and still can't figure out how to make it work correctly, audio quality most of the time is inconsistent, audio just drops and comes back half a tone up and it is just annoying, without mentioning that I have tried several times to connect it to my windows bluetooth enabled laptop and it seems to be impossible
However, if I didn't had this issues, I would be very satisfied with the sound quality (when it works), portability and durability

I have only had this unit for 2 weeks, It sounds great at low volumes, but I'm dissatisfied when you turn it up, maybe if I listened to classical music all the time, it would be great, but I enjoy a hard rock and heavy metal, and this unit failed me!

Thank you for the review. We are glad to hear that the SoundLink Color is sounding great at low volumes. It is by far our most portable SoundLink Bluetooth speaker, with great sound in a very small package. However, for even more bass and volume, our other SoundLink speakers like the SoundLink Mini II or SoundLink III would be an even better option. The SoundLink Mini II is by far our best sounding portable speaker for its size, and the SoundLink III puts out the most volume and bass and also has the longest battery life (up to 14 hours). We would definitely recommend taking a look at one of those if you're looking for more volume.

Not working anymore

I got this speaker for Christmas and it was fantastic having it in my garage while it worked but now the plug is very flimsy, the battery won't stay charged, and now I can't get it to do anything It will connect to my phone and will say it's playing but it only makes a buzzing noise when I turn the volume up.

I bought my Soundlink several months ago. When I had it at home I couldn't be happier. When I took it to work I could barely hear it over the ambient noise (I work in a Jeep factory). Other works have other portable speakers that cost around the same amount and they can hear them fine but if I walk 7-10 feet away from the speaker I can't even tell it's on. Also now that I've used it a while I have to play around with the charger to get the thing to charge (cord or contact issue). Very disappointed in what I thought would be a great purchase.

Thank you for your review of the SoundLink Color. We appreciate the feedback. You should be getting plenty of great audio from the SoundLink Color with excellent bass and clear highs. For even more volume, we also offer the SoundLink Mini II and SoundLink III which have much more bass and volume overall. One thing that may help with the SoundLink Color is to make sure the software is up to date. The update is available at the link below:

Good sound, portable, disrupts bluetooth

I'm am happy with the product. Its just what I wanted. Something small and portable with good sound that connects via bluetooth. The only problem it has is that it disrupts other bluetooth devices. For example when I connect it to my mac book pro, my blue tooth mouse movements become jagged and delayed. When I connect it near my xbox, the xbox controller will have trouble connecting. This is why I am giving it 3 stars, not a higher rating.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you are happy with the SoundLink Color, but you should not be getting that Bluetooth disruption that you have described and we would like to help. One thing to try is to remove the SoundLink Color as a device from the computer and reconnect. If that does not resolve it, there are other things to try and we can help.

Great Sound

Bought this as a Christmas present has been great! Today it decided not to charge! I have read other reviews and have tried to follow some of the tips like plugging in,turning on and holding aux button for 10-20! But if it won't charge how do you get it to turn on??

enjoyed while it lasted

I received this as a Christmas gift 2015. Worked great until today. Had it charging and when I went to use it no power came on. Tried to fix the problem but it seems dead.
