Was satisfied at first...

We bought this speaker to use at our outside wedding for the music. We were right on the shore of Lake Superior and the sound quality was great! We were very satisfied with the sound quality of this speaker until recently it stopped working. When charging the battery sign would blink like it was charging, but then it would not turn on. VERY disappointed as we had loved the speaker when it was working!

If the system is not turning on, we'd like to suggest a reset of the speaker. Here are steps to take to achieve this:

If the speaker is disconnected from power, connect it to the power supply
Turn the speaker on
Press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard
Turn the speaker on and verify your language selection. To select English, press Play/Pause and hold.

BEWARE!!! NOT USABLE AS A SPEAKERPHONE

Found out after the fact that you can't use this as a speakerphone. Just received it; pairs easily and straight forward to use but as soon as you try to use the phone function, it drops the signal and goes to your handset. Very disappointed since this is the main reason I bought this speaker. Quite sad that a higher end product doesn't have the features you want especially when most cheap competitors offer this function. It will now cost me to return this product.

Best Portable Speaker

This little speaker can really make some noise! I use this speaker for everything. Parties, Netflix, and Internet browsing. It has great sound quality and the bass is amazing. I definitely think that this is one of the best portable speakers on the market today, especialy for its relatively cheep cost. Thanks Bose!

I have been truly disappointed with this product since almost the beginning. The charging cord broke almost immediately. It would not stay in the port. The warranty was honored and a replacement was sent. The sound quality has never been that good. There is a constant humming. Again, truly disappointed in this product.

Bose Soundlink Color Bluetooth Speaker

I bought this speaker 3 days agao for a party I was having. My intenet was to use the speaker outside while connecting to my smartphone. Well the speaker worked great indoors but when placed outdoors it played for maybe 10 minutes. I have been a user of Bose since 1986 and HAD great confidence in their products but this has definetly made me reconsider my viewpoint. Waste of money.
