Speaker Won't Power On or Play After Charging

This speaker worked well for a few months but it suddenly stopped powering on after charging. When I disconnect it from the charging unit, which shows a full charge, it won't power on at all. It does not seem to operate independent of being plugged into the charging unit. I love the quality of the sound but obviously there is a seriously issue with the design. Given the fact that it only worked properly for a few months, I would not purchase it again.

The first step to getting you back to enjoying your music is a system reset. When your speaker is plugged in, please press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard, then turn the speaker on and verify your language selection.
If after doing so the issue persists, please contact our technical service team at 800-367-4008. Support hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST. We'll have you back to enjoying your music quickly.
I really like the one wire connection and the way I can get rid of all my controllers. it took alittle while to program, instructions were not great, however we are all setup now. I wish it had one think though an output jack for earphone or external wireless speaker.

Great but...

I am a film maker & director. I shoot a ton of music videos & when on set I prefer this product to provide quality playback because as a brand Bose is synonymous with quality. Its great but...
For some reason as of late I have been experiencing some connectivity issues & a bit of over heating after only a few minutes of use. This may be an error on my part but I refuse to use anything else in place of my slightly hot speaker.
I am pretty sure that these little issues will be fixed in the next iteration of this speaker & I will be first in line to get one for the office & one when were on set shooting our next music video or short film.

Horrible Product

I have had many bose speakers in the past i got the bose sound link color for christmas last year and from the beginning had issues charger didn't fit in speaker then the speaker wouldn't turn on now it won't stay charged even right after its fully charged it dies 5 minutes after very upset with this!!! Im going to Beats after this

Doesn't Connect!!!!!

I've had this speaker for several months and absolutely love the sound! However. Every time I turn on my phone (Pandora) I have to wrestle with the speaker to connect. I go into settings and see the speaker and try to pair it again, but it's unsuccessful. This is very disappointing. I will not buy another as I had planned.

How frustrating! We can definitely assist you with this. The fix might be as simple as a reset.
To do so, please connect the speaker to the power supply, then turn the speaker on. Next, press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard. The speaker's list of paired devices has now been cleared. Turn the speaker on and then pair your device.

Great sound for such a little package

I purchased my soundlink about 2 months ago and after a rocky start, Its been pretty smooth sailing the rest of the way. The first one was dead out of the box. Bad Lipo battery from what Tech and I could tell. We were instructed to bring it to the nearest Bose store and they took immediate care of us. The new one works well. It does occasionally say its charged and won't turn on, but we plug it back on the charger and it works fine. It doesn't do this all the time and we are not sure if its us or the unit so I won't say its broken just yet. Other than that I highly recommend the speaker.

Amazing sound, problem charging battery

I received a Bose Soundlink Color as a gift 8 months ago. The sound quality is amazing. It works extremely well with a Bluetooth connection to Pandora. I would give this product a very honest 5 star rating but for one annoying issue...the battery charging system is problematic. Several times when trying to recharge the batteries it was very difficult to get the Amber "charging" light to turn on. I have tried both the charger supplied with the Soundlink and, as suggested in the Bose literature, I also tried other USB chargers and cords. Eventually it seems to finally take a charge. However, after using my Soundlink for 6 - 8 hours yesterday, I find that the unit again will not take a charge...nothing lights up and I tried several USB devices. We have several different Bose systems in our household and, although I have found the quality of Bose products to be exceptional, the Soundlink that I have is not living up to that standard.
