I Thought It Could...

Unless I received a damaged item I was very disappointed in the performance of this Bose Soundlink Color Bluetooth speaker. At first I was impressed by the clarity of sound but as I tested the volume range the more distorted the sound became especially with heavily bass driven songs...it was as though bumble-bees converged inside the speaker which totally distorted the sound. I have other Bose products of which I am very pleased but with this item Bose dropped the ball.

Great until now

I have been happy with the product up until today when all of a sudden it stopped working. I couldn't have had it for more than two years. My phone connected to it through Bluetooth but sound wouldn't come out. I am 100% sure it was on and connected with volume turned up yet it still did not work. Very upset about it because it was of Bose's high quality until now.

everything is amazing until I have to charge it

it's gets difficult to charge over time. the charger only works some time and only in weird positions.. I've had my speaker for about 6 months and the charger doesn't work at all anymore.. I guess I just need to buy another one. I also sometimes spend 15 minutes trying to get a phone to connect to it

Disappointed

Initially worked great. Sound is the quality Bose is known for. Stopped working after a couple of uses. Intermittent connection, now won't hold a charge. Hopefully will be able to get it worked out.

multiple blue tooth users under one roof :(

The Bose colour bluetooth was great until I realized that if my daughter was upstairs from it pair with her phone and ruin my listening experience . It would be nice if the bluetooth only paired with one device at a time . the only solution i have now is to text her or another person to tell them to turn off their bluetooth . Frustrating! Other than that great bluetooth speaker .
So I give it three stars. P.s. I have had this since last Christmas.

Love it BUT !!

I really love it, the problem I have is I can't get to sync to my new phone or any other device anymore. I have had it a little more than a year. But since I got a new phone it does not like to my new Iphone...

Thank you for the review. It's great to hear that you love the system, but you should definitely be able to connect that to your new phone, as well as other devices. The Bose SoundLink Colo will connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to any Bluetooth audio device. One thing to make sure of is that the software is up to date on the SoundLink Color. Not working after only 1 week

After only one week the battery is not charging and the Bose soundlink color will not operate even when plugged into the outlet.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We're sorry to learn of your disappointing experience with your SoundLink Color and can definitely assist you. A reset of the speaker will likely resolve the issue for you and allow you to enjoy your music quickly.

To do so, simply connect your speaker to the power supply and turn it on. Press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard. Now turn the speaker on and verify your language selection. Put the speaker and your device into discoverable mode and allow the two to reconnect.

Can't power on after recharge

Received as gift. Worked great 1st week. Recharged and last night took it to a friend's' Christmas party. Unit would not power on. Embarrassed & disappointed.

Power issues are often resolved by a simple reset. Please connect the speaker to power. Next, turn the speaker on, then press and hold the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard. Turn the speaker on and verify your language selection. Now, place your SoundLink Color speaker and your Bluetooth device into discoverable mode and allow the two to reconnect.
