its a must have to your ps3 collection. this game has a good storyline. the online play is great. it has one of the best online play of the ps3 games that are out there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you play Halo with 39 others online? No, but you can play Resistance with 40 people online and, unlike Xbox 360, it is FREE to get online. The weapons are great, the graphics are outstanding, the playability is amazing. You will not be dissapointed until you meet me in an online game.

R:FOM is the best title released on the PS3 and I believe it was more involved and smoother gameplay than XBOX's Halo series. Online play is ridiculous. It adds several map variations of the levels you play in story mode (which allows for CO-OP play). Up to 40 players can play in one map against each other. You have several "goals" to accomplish online to keep gameplay focused if you'd prefer not to go the mindless-killing route (i.e. medals for 100 kills with every weapon, stealth kills, etc.). Capture the Flag, Breach, and Meltdown (king of the hill) allows for fresh online play. And the best part: IT'S FREE. Can any online XBOX game say that? Nope.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My bestfriend & I finish this game in 2 days. It's a long game!! fun! and lots of action. Great cinematic and straight forward gameplay. I advice playing co-op with a friend than by yourself to finish the game quicker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I will put this plain and simple.........This is the best shooter that is out. This game BLOWS AWAY FEAR, The Darkness and every other game that I have played on the PS3. I'm a pretty big Halo fan and I would say that this game is better than Halo 1 & 2. If you like first person shooters than you CANT go wrong with RESISTANCE.
What's great about it: EVERYTHING!
What's not so great: The hours of my life that gets devoted to it
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent FPS

As the first game that I purchased for the PS3 when the system was released, I was pleased with the quality of the game. The graphics are good for a first-generation PS3 game and the gameplay plays well. My roommates and I had a lot of fun on the four-player multiplayer and the co-op mode was great too.
Now, months later, I don't play the game as much, but with the online play, I can imagine the replay value would be tremendous if FPS are your cup of tea. Even if you think you've found and done everything, remember to look for those lawn gnomes!
I would recommend this to a friend!
