I bought this a month ago and it impedes the water flow so so much we have reverted to buying bottled water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After replacing the pipes in my house I realized it was the same water filter in my fridge since I bought the appliance. We really should change them more often. I felt better about having my family drink tap water after. Good investment but not cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was not crazy about it. first it only does ice cubes, no water. second the installation probably did not seat correctly and I had to figure out what was wrong.

Bad replacement

Original cartridge was discontinued & replacement does not fit existing filter unit. I am now stuck with a useless cartridge. Very upset.
