It works fine. Plugs in to the refrigerator easily. It is just too expensive.

My refrigerator (Profile)is 12 years old and is a great disappointment in several ways.. I have had numerous repairs. I have always had almost only GE products. I ordered 3 filters in Sept. this year and installed one immediately after receipt.After three weeks the light showed red, meaning the filter was supposed to be replaced.
How long are these filters supposed to last?
Please advise.

Of course this filter was made specifically for my model refrigerator so it works perfectly as expected. I like this service since I am notified prior to the filter needed to be replaced.

We love our GE fridge! The water filter gets replaced every 6 months for us just about and it's super easy to install and makes our ice cubes and water taste so much better!
