Bioshock is easily one of the best titles for any platform of 2007. The game starts you out on a plane which then crashes in the middle of the ocean. the only land nearby is a very small island with nothing but a lighthouse on top of it. You enter the lighthouse and are immediately taken to the underwater city of Rapture. This city was supposed to be a scientific leap by introducing "plasmids" which allowed its citizens to have abilities such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, etc., but greed for the plasmids grew, corrupting the city and mutating the population. You job is to find out what the deal is and how to get out. The game's atmosphere is great as it creates a moody and eerie environment after every turn. The enemies all yell maniacal things which add to this. The great graphics and artistic design also contribute to this. From the shine of the metal pipes to the reflection of the water on the ground, all of this come together to suck you into the world of Rapture. The weapons you will gain throughout the game and fully customizable, as are your plasmid powers. Both are very fun to use. The story is also good, as the mysteries of Rapture unravel. I do have some minor complaints though. The game has no multi player aspects which is disappointing, and due to this, it also makes the game seem short, at around 10 hours long. I still recommend the game though so go buy it.
What's great about it: Great atmosphere, graphics, and story development; customizable weapons
What's not so great: No multi-player, somewhat short

I loved this game, I spent so much time walking around and exploring every inch of Rapture. The graphics are second to none, every detail is rich with color, the controls are silky smooth, and it had the best story of any game to date. You will become immersed in it after an hour, I guarantee it. Would you kindly just go buy it and get started.

If you haven't heard much of bioshock, it is a very great game. The story can be a little confusing at first, but give some time. It's a fantastic shooter that thrills. May look like a horror type game, but it isn't that bad, unless your a whoose. Fantastic graphics, but does not have an online multiplayer. IF your jacked with money, deffentally buy this game, but since it has no online, check if a friend has the game. If you can borrow it and save some money, good for you. The gameplay takes a couple weeks to get through, so it's deffentilly worth the money, and you'll probably want to play the game again, and tie in loose peices that you may have missed because the story has more than one ending.
What's great about it: graphics, story, fun of playing
What's not so great: your not the guy on the front cover

this was one of the best 360 games that i have played... but it is confusing at times. i like the fact that the corpes's pop out of like no where. its to bad that you cant get a drill when you have to dress up as the big daddy.. i highly recommend this game to people that like shooting games
What's great about it: story line, blood/gore everything
What's not so great: you dont get to be a big daddy with a drill

This is definitly one of the best games ever. It's well worth whatever you pay for it. The story is in-depth and interesting, the voice acting is flawless, and the graphics are unbelievable. The water physics are the best I've ever seen, and the levels are detailed. The story is really easy to get into, and i recommend playing it in the dark for added effect, becuse it's kinda creepy at times. The only flaw is the person's hands look kinda weird. It has awesome features like gene-modifying, and you can do stuff like shoot fire and use telekenisis...sort of like the gravity gun from Half Life. I would totally recommend this game to anyone.
What's great about it: Graphics, Storyline, Character Develolpment, Gene-Modifying

Bioshock is a very unique game and was my first for Xbox 360. It sets the bar high with its graphics and story line and lets you go to a variety of places with different weapons and tonics. The spider splicers and big daddies are fun to kill and overall this is one of the best games I have ever played.
What's great about it: fun, great story, well written and created
