This game just flat out rocks. I heard about the type of gameplay from a friend and thought it was kinda cracked out. but i downloaded the demo and man was i wrong. This game passes all expectations. the graphics are amazing, the story is fun, and it gives you a good bit of a challenge. Buy this game!!
What's great about it: Unique, fun, decent challenge
What's not so great: none

Bioshock was really fun, wasnt a real challange but at times it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, the graphics were good i love using the tonics and weapons i highly recommend this game!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took a little while for me to get into Bioshock when I first started playing it. The gameplay felt a little slow and muddled at first. It just didn't 'feel' right. But I gave it a chance, and I'm glad I did.
Bioshock is was one of the all-around best games to be released so far for the current generation of video games. It has a story that immediately grabs you and stays interesting for the entire time you play it. Another high point of Bioshock is the art direction; it is next-to-perfect. The underwater city of Rapture is so cool, I'm a little sad I can't go there myself.
The whole concept of how Rapture works has been planned and laid out very well, and it is incorporated into the core gameplay amazingly well.
Your survival to the later stages of the game depends on your ability to acquire ADAM, the "genetic currency" of Rapture. The only way to get ADAM is to find Little Sisters, small girls with large syringes who wander around looking to extract ADAM from corpses. Each Little Sister is protected, however, by a Big Daddy, one of whom is pictured on the game box. You have to kill the Big Daddy to get to the Little Sister, and they do not go down without a fight. Once you get ADAM, you use it to purchase genetic upgrades (called plasmids) for yourself, which you will need to progress through the game.
The characters, items, weapons, and the entire package of Bioshock make it a truly great game. Anyone into first-person shooters, action/adventure, and horror owes it to themselves to at least try it.
What's great about it: Great & engrossing story, awesome graphics, very good control & gameplay
What's not so great: Not many, only a few small nitpicks

This game has a great story with nice twists and the Unreal engine 3 powered graphics help set the mood. The voice acting is also good.
The A.I. of the enemies could have used some work, they are very typical of a first person shooter. There are 3 different endings but they are not executed at a satisfactory level. The enemies are also repetive.
Overall though, I very good game that should be played for its engrossing storyline.
What's great about it: Great story, Graphics are very good
What's not so great: A.I. is lacking, unsatisfactory ending
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great imaginative storyline that blends old style art deco surroundings with a sci fi thriller genre. Very fun, but the graphivs in mine get jerky half way through.
What's great about it: Great story and visuals
What's not so great: Graphics get a little buggy half way through

Iloved this games from the first few seconds playing it. The controls are very natural and easy to get used to. The storyline instantly pulls you in and keeps you involved throughout. This is not a terribly difficult game, but more than makes up for it by keeping entertained for the duration. If you like a game that keeps you interested in the characters and takes place in an amazing world, try this one.
What's great about it: Great Story and Amazing World
What's not so great: Not really difficult
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is quickly climbing up the charts on my personal "best of" list.
A couple of weeks ago, it was in the top 10, but now(the more I think of it) it's easily in my top 5.
The most stirking thing about this game is the arresting atmosphere. There's not a second that went by that I didn't feel like I was absorbed in an underwater world that had gone horribly wrong. The game made me feel like the world would have gone on whether or not I had been there to be a part of it.
I would sometimes just sit hidden in a place a watch the characters go about their business and carry on programmed conversations. Fascinating.
This was due to some fantastic personality coding, whic brings me to some other great coding.......the A.I.
No fight happens the same way in this game. You could play the game 10 times annd have a different experience with the battles every time, not to mention the added difference of how you interact within those fights through various modifications to your genetics through the use of Plasmids and Tonics.
The graphics are also nothing to scoff at at this game. It is still one of the best looking titles to come out for the system after significantly more than a year after it's release. Even on a standard definition tv this game is a joy to behold.
I absolutely recommend this game at ful price, but seeing as it has recently gone down in price, it is a genuine bargain.
I believe I'm going to go play some more tonight. :)

This game is AMAZING~ I would suggest this to anyone who wants a new game for there collection. I cant wait for Bioshock to come out on the PS3. Not because I like PS3 better, its because it will give me another reason to play through this great game again. Note to game develpers. Use bioshock as a template and then proceed~~
You will not be sorry with this purchase!
What's great about it: Entertaining, Difficult,
What's not so great: To Short.
