Got this when I got my Mac Mini, was told it was the adapter I'd need to use my PC monitor. Turned out that on my way home, I realized it was the wrong one. Best Buy made is less than easy to exchange it, as I had to drive to another store about 15 or so miles away, as the original store did not have any in stock.
Not to mention the correct adapter was a bit more costly.

What's great about it: can't say, had it for all of 5 minutes before i took it back
What's not so great: that it wasnt the right adapter

I bought this for my 2011 15' Macbook Pro. My Macbook doesn't have the port for this so i was not able to connect my computer to a tv or monitor. If you have the same computer as me and want this, it will not work for you.

My MacBook fell and the screen went Fractal. I bought this monitor connector and can now use my MacBook as a Desktop Computer.
