It worked great for a few months then all of a sudden, it didn't. The pages are printing "smeared". I thought it was the ink, replaced it. Same thing. No clue how to "fix" it. I haven't even had it a year. I guess you get what you pay for. And it TOO complicated to change out the ink cartridge...and yes, I did follow the screen instructions. Didn't help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one of the most difficult printers I have ever had. The instructions are difficult to understand. I have not been able to make a copy of anything without first scanning it into the computer first. The remote printer registration is not understandable and I never got it to work either. The quality of the printed material is very good and I am happy with that but I am 71 years old and it is very hard for me to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Printer Ever!!!

This is the worst printer I have ever owned. It keeps going off-line and whenever the black ink runs out you can't use the printer. Even if you still have other colors left you cannot use the printer. I hate this printer.

I have to say that I had another Epson printer that was MUCH easier to use. This one was difficult to set up and is very difficult to use...I find the FAXing, copying and scanning much more difficult than my last model. I wish my other model was still available because I would have purchased it.
The printing is good and once I did get it set up it works fine.

SLOW Scan

In looking over past reviews, I see some people have had issues with the wireless aspect of this printer. I too had problems and finally resorted to connecting it to my laptop with a USB cord.
The scanning process takes far longer than most scanners. To scan one picture took 2 minutes...yes, I timed it with an online stopwatch.

Not gotten great print quality from the start, so I replaced the black ink cartridge and still poor print quality. Prints a line lighter and darker on the same line... if printing a box, it skips so you have a dotted line instead of solid.. didn't expect this problem from a printer purchased 4 months ago...

Printer fail

I got this printer to replace my older one that didn't have the wireless connection that I need for my iPad. The setup was easy, it found the wireless modem with no problems. However, the print quailty is horrible. It reminds me of the printer I had 20 years ago, streaky and light in all the colors. I did the head cleaner process that the help site said to do with no improvvement. All the colors are a mess. I'm so disappointed and I'm thinking about returning it to the store.
