Through the years I have owned several all in one printers and I have to say this one beats them all hands down for print quality, speed from computer to print completion or from scanner to computer and the copy feature is a plus that makes copying photos and forms simple and quick...Thanx for making a great product.

Absolutely determined to keep me from printing anything ever

I've had this printer a little over a year and have some thoughts on it. This will require a bulleted list. - I think there's supposed to be plug-and-play USB functionality (why would there be a USB jack otherwise?), but none of my computers have ever acknowledged the printer's presence when connected via USB cable. The printer didn't come with a cable, either; I had to supply my own. It was taken from my old but perfectly functional previous printer, which I now regret not sticking with, so I know it works fine. - Wifi setup takes forever and is unintuitive. - When entering the wifi password, only alphanumeric characters are available. Your password contains spaces or special characters? No printing for you. - Switching between cases while entering the password is also unintuitive. - Whether the printer will deign to connect to the network even after the correct password has been entered is controlled by inscrutable dark magic. The printer and my router are only about seven feet apart and in the same room, by the way. - I've never managed to connect the printer directly to any computer even over wifi, so all printing has to be done through Epson Connect on my tablet. Want to draft a quick letter in Word and print it? Okay, once you've written the letter on your desktop, upload it to your Epson Connect folder in Google Drive. Then get on your tablet, open the app, navigate through your folders until you find it, and print. That's all! - Registering with Epson Connect is a whole ordeal and not particularly intuitive either. - I have to run multiple nozzle head cleanings literally(!) every time I have to print anything. - When it finally does print, the quality is absolutely terrible. I'm always apologizing to people for it. - I needed to replace my black ink cartridge today after, like, three uses. No longevity whatsoever. - The printer currently claims to have equal levels of ink in all three color cartridges, but is clearly out of magenta. - Scanning works pretty well, but as I'm not able to connect directly to my computer, I have to have scans sent to my email, the setup for which involves an additional registration process in Epson Connect. - My cat was messing around near the printer one day and snapped the paper rest right off. I saw it happen, and he wasn't sitting on it or anything, just nosing around. It can't stand up to a cat's mild curiosity.
