I hate that this printer won't print in black when it is out of color ink.

Epson All-in-One Printer Great Purchase

This was a great buy. Have have tried a few other all in one printers that have the option for wireless connectivity with very poor results. This one works on all my devices without too much effort.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Un Happy with my EPSON

I'm dissatisfied with my Epson Printer. I changed the Black ink cartage and every since I changed the Ink the printer doesn't print from all of my apps. I'm so frustrated with this machine. I hate that I ever bought it.

Horrible Printer

This is the worse printer I have ever had. This is my first and last EPSON printer. From the time we brought it home there have been nothing but problems with the ink. Then one day it just stopped printing black and magenta ink for no reason. We cleaned the heads nothing. We even removed the ink and made sure there was no excess ink. It never worked right again. I purchased another another brother printer and have had no issues at all. Don't bother with this mess.

Cheap, still not worth it.

I bought this printer planning on using it sparingly for home use. The printer sits weeks between each use. After a few uses, the printer began leaving out huge portions of the pages I was attempting to print. I tried cleaning the print head and realigning it. This worked, but I needed to do it before every usage. Now it doesn't print what I need no matter what.
I've probably printed 25 pages successfully on this thing before giving up. Also, I burned through so much ink trying to clean the head and check it that I am already out of ink. Despite being cheap, this printer is the worst value of any printer I have ever had.

Best Average Printer On The Market
on April 7, 2017

I purchased one of these in October of 2016. I was thrilled with it. We did not have a huge network, nor did we have a computer that was wireless. So the printer was hard wired to the small laptop. The ability to email anything I wanted printed was an awesome feature as many times my roommate would print off documents that needed to be completed instantly.
The problem came when I moved across the country and had a fully networked home. Having been pleased with the printer previously, I went on ahead and purchased one for my mothers home. As I tried to set up the wireless functionality I realized that I needed some experience in networking, which I am glad I had. If there is a typical home network the printers wireless IP address needs to be configured into the scanning function. If you do not know where to find the in address then you are SOL, because the manuals say absolutely nothing about how to find the IP address or even that it needs to be located.
Out of a morbid curiosity, after I had my printer set up, I decided to look online for my issue, and come to find out many consumers have the same problem. Also, if you change service providers, say go from satellite to cable, the IP of the printer becomes useless and you need to reconfigure it to the new router.
My mother lives in the boondocks, and so she has satellite internet. After a few weeks her bandwidth cap was reached and I found myself using my cell phone's hotspot to connect to the net. I set my laptop up to it and lo-and behold, I could no longer print or scan, I had to once again change the IP address.
All in all the printer is one of the best printers out there for the price range. It comes with the typical Epson individual color carts instead of a single block of colors and then black. This makes it super easy to change only the colors that have run out.
The networking function is what brings this printer down, if there was either better documentation or a more intuitive scanning function this printer would have gotten a full 5*'s from me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
