Software Flaw

I attempted to register my device and was told that the date was incorrect. I purchased my device on 06/09/2016, but the only input the system would accept is 01/01/2010

Nice printer... when it works

Basic all in one jet printer at a very good price. However, it OFTEN does not recognize Epson ink cartridges and won't print. This obviously makes it unusable. I tried everything suggested online to get it to recognize Epson's own ink cartridges (which run out quickly.) So far (this is the second time I replaced the cartridges, after about 10 attempts with Dexoit and restarting it...still no recognition and no printing.
So, I am in the market for another printer.

Printer prints out good quality prints. It requires special paper, however, that is not on the outside of the box. The printer will not override this need in copy mode and you MUST use glossy paper. It will print on regular paper for regular printing, however, you MUST go back and push a button for that so using Bluetooth is out of the question right now. So if you don't have the money for fancy paper don't buy this machine. We were 2 days past our return date :(

Ink dries up...

My first attempt at using this unit was a dry one...
The ink dried up in all of the cartridges within a few months... I've gone through two black cartridges before using one ream of paper.
Because I like the functionality of the printer, I'm trying a new one to see if it was just the one unit I had.
Only other issue with this unit is the 2 sided printing function is not available on this unit.

Good Printer

Setup is relatively simple. Had difficultly getting the printer to copy and print. Align the item to be copied at the lower right corner. Wifi Setup is semi-simple. Figuring out how to enter passwords on screen that was a difficult.
Be very careful of plastic slide parts they will break.

Great advances in this printer compared to previous Epson printer. Having problem finding how to release paper jam while Faxing. Need help but not readily available.... still looking

Difficult setup

I really like having everything in one compact unit, printer, copy, scan, etc. I've only had it for couple of days and tried setup today. I had some trouble downloading it to my computer. The enclosed disc did not work, it did absolutely nothing. Had to go to website and download from there. It was very time consuming and frustrating. It connected ok to my wireless box but the computer was much harder. I hope over the next couple of days that the features gets easier to use. I guess the most frustrating and difficult issue was the setup/download. At least so far.

I'm not at all impressed with this one. I don't get very many uses out of one ink cartridge, and I can't print in black when any of the color cartridges are out. I rarely print anything other than text documents, so this is less than ideal. It works fine, but the printer leaves much to be desired. I'll look elsewhere for a replacement.
