In a real office setting this printer would not last a week!

Slow, Slow,drinks ink and poor color quality. The printer now sounds like the thing needs to be oiled! I bought this printer for my home office. I was thinking that if Epson says this printer works well in an office it would be great in a home. Not the case at all. I never write a review. This printer is junk and I felt everyone should be told.

Good basic All-in-One printer.

I bought this WF-2630 Epson printer because I had good luck with Epson printer before. Setting it up, told me that I will have problems, because I am using Ubuntu Linux, hate MicroCrap, and the other one. No Epson driver's for Linux, (WHY NOT?) and have to depend on third party drivers which sometimes are not ones that work well if at all.
I have another laptop with Windows 10, and it sort of works. Using the Libre office suite on both Ubuntu Linux and Windows 10, I save on the Linux computer as a file that I can open on the Libre Office word processor on the Windows 10 computer, and move it on a thumb drive. Open it on the Windows 10 computer, and save it as a Windows Word file, and print. Not convenient, but many times the "Sneaker Net" is the only way. I may have to break down and buy a printer that works with Ubuntu Linux, and put this one away as a reserve to use in a pinch.
COME ON EPSON, LINUX IS HERE TO STAY, DEVELOP SOME PRINTER DRIVERS!!!!

Dificult to setup

It doesn't come with the USB cable, and the port is not a regular USB. Not possible to setup without a cable. Very slow printer.. So far I was not able to setup the scan because requires register the printer first.

Other than a random USB cable that doesn't seem to connect on the printer, the set up was fairly straight forward and the quality is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchase the WF2630 a month ago, I found that the so called "Control Center" is very hard to use and is not setup to be user friendy The manual is very poorly written and hard to follow

It was a gift to me and my daughter has been using it to look for work. Even when are internet was disrupted we were able to go online to Epson to get it to work again. Has been easy to work with had it since Christmas 2017
