Best all-in-one printer for the price

This is my 3rd Epson printer & my 2nd all in one. They're very compact for small spaces & easy to set up. Took me 30 minutes to set up my desktop & laptop & start printing. I like Epson printers for they last a while. I still have my first Epson printer from 20 years ago & it is still printing but I needed something with fax & scanner too. I would difinitely refer to a friend or family member.

It was a pleasure and relief to set up the new WF-2630 all in one. I have owned 3 other printers and have always had problems getting started. Not in this case. success without headaches.

Epson WorkForce WF-2630 All-in-One Printer

I find this printer to be quick and durable for small at home jobs. Even extended labor some printing gets done in relative short order. I think the on-hand instructions could be a bit more simplified; as sometimes I had to stumble my way to the correct application of a particular task. Also, the print cartilages are extremely small thus their use does not last for very long; unless you purchase the XL version that gives 2.5 times the print as the regular. All in all, it will pass for low level at home printing but, not voluminous school work printing (of course, unless you do purchase the XL cartilages).

I have recently been printing a project that required a lot of magenta. I find it EXTREMELY difficult to change the cartridges as they expire. There doesn't seem to be any direct route. With my last Epson printer there was a few steps that you click and put a new cartridge in. Not with this one! I am still left muddling through and often get very frustrated and take entirely to long to get the task accomplished. I also can't seem to find how to clean the print heads without difficulty.. It does a really nice job and is a bit quicker then my last one with print jobs.

I would have liked to have complete instructions in the form of printed material, I do not like on line tutorials as I find the hard to follow.

Extremely pleased

I am extremely pleased with the WF2630 printer. Complete installation went without a hitch. Instructions were clear and to the point. Everything worked the first time (copy, print, scan). However I was disappointed because there was no mention of how to print envelopes in the user's manual. After perusing your web site, I came across a 2-min. video describing how to print envelopes. The printer is used at home.

FOUR DAYS!
on November 26, 2015

What I should have know before I bought the Epson wf-2630 is that as it comes out of the box it is incompatible with Windows 10. Every time I tried to install it, my internet was disabled which of course means that I could not find any tutorials or support on-line. Restoring the computer was not enough and I've wasted a lot of time using an operating system that brags about being able to simply plug in new devices, and trusting what the box said about this printer. After three days of this insanity I was able to reset everything and go online to the Epson site where it immediately told me to download the Win 10 installation package. This also disabled my internet and required the lenthy process of uninstalling Epson, Initializing the last saved Recovery point, and experimenting until the internet was available again. I then tried the Win 10 specific package again but installed by using a USB cable rather than the troublesome WiFi, and just to be safe I declined the option to share data with Epson on-line because their idea of compatibility and ease cannot be trusted. This time it installed very smoothly and probably very much like it was described by the sales people and on-line explanations. It's now sitting here making funny sounds and seems eager to get to work -AFTER FOUR DAYS! Would I ever buy an Epson printer again...FOUR DAYS...no, I would not. Even if this printer turns out to be a wonderful little machine...FOUR DAYS is too long to spend on a simple plug and play set up. FOUR DAYS!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped Printing in Black

Bought this Epson WF-2630 only a couple months ago and it is no longer printing in black ink. Just replaced the cartridge and the printer shows it is full. Tried realignment, head cleaning, and nozzle check - no luck. Don't waste your money or your time on this hunk of junk.
