It's a great little printer with excellent quality print for both text and pictures, when it works. It is setup and running fine one day, the next it is offline for no reason. The only way I have found to fix it is to delete and re-install the printer. EPSON did just release some new Windows 10 drivers so perhaps they, cross my fingers, will resolve the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did not expect it from such reputable company!
First printer I received did not work at all!
Second printer does not perform 100% - software attached does not work!
If I would know I would not buy this printer at all!

4th Epson printer

I guess I should have done a little more homework before buying this product because I thought this 2630 may equal my old 600.
I have a Workforce 600, and a XP-400 at home.
The 600 is a very good product and I have had for years. It is old as computer products go, but a fine machine and a fast workhorse.
The 400 is my wife's and it is a cheap unit and has plugged up black ink many times, and I figured a way to get it cleared and keep it running for her.
I actually have another unit like the 400 at a remote location, but don't have the model number, but it is an XP.
This new Workforce WF-2630 was more difficult to set up, in comparison to the other home machines I have set up at home, but easy as compared to the one I have at a remote location. What I am a bit disappointed with is the speed of copying. The copy scan rate is very slow. Printing speed is very acceptable, however. I haven't tried a scan to hard drive yet or the mobile feature yet, but bet those features are fine with the scan a bit slow possibly. I can live with it, considering I still have my old 600 workhorse...
The cost was great considering I got an online sale from a big Office Supply company, which I suspect was a closeout.

But, all in all, it seems like the good quality machine I have grown to expect from Epson.

The printer does print nicely, however it was very difficult to set the printer up, especially the fax machine part. I worked on this for three hours before I was finally able to get this to work. Now that I have it set up it does print nicely and it is very fast at printing which is nice. The colors on the printer are very bright. I am happy with the printer, just which the set up was a little easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!
