not what I expected

Negatives: Do not like to have to choose each and every time how I want my copies or prints. There should be a default that I can set. I was told the amount of copies per ink cartridge would be superior to the previous Epson printer I owned, but this is not the case. The printer is not user friendly, ie. not intuitive. On the positive side, the printing is clear and crisp, colors are true.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating!

This is the most frustrating printer I have ever owned!! When it does print, it is great quality. But I mostly receive errors. It will not let me copy documents, all I get is "paper source does not match" I try to fix the paper source settings and it gives me the exact same error.. To scan, I have to go through the computer instead because otherwise it says it cannot connect to my computer (even when I can print from the computer).

I hate this printer, I thought I would really like it since I could fax and do other things with it but its horrible. If you can get it to print at all its amazing, even after you install brand new ink cartridges that cost a small fortune. I live on a budget and it really hurts not to be able to use this printer. When I first bought it, it worked, but it used up the ink way too fast. Then I moved now it doesn't work at all. Epson used to make a great printer now they are junk at least this one is. Why don't you cut the price on the new ones with the fill tanks and two years worth of ink so I can afford a new one or better yet take this one back and send me a new one.

I expected an easier set up. It took forever to get the printer to work. It is just not well explained. I am still trying to set up the cloud ability so I can scan and get my scanned documents from the cloud. I think there can be better instructions. not just video of what it does but videos of how to set it up and make it work. I barely use it because it is not user friendly for setting up. I still can not use the scanner the way I thought I would be able to and nothing works from the cloud yet and it has been a month of me trying to make it work. I use a lot of tools and this has been the least user friendly. I just think you need better instruction guides.

Won't Let you use the rest of the ink

All printers I have used previously warn you that the ink is low, but this product won't let you use the printer once that warning pops up till you change the cartridge. Even when the "ink is low" there is still plenty of printing that can be done. DON'T buy this unless you like buying ink all the time and wasting your money.

SET UP

Tried four times to set this up for Wi-Fi. Every time the prompts were different. It will not upload updates even though there were no error indications. Twice I got successful set up messages then error messages. Still do not know if I can print as of this review prompt.
