not a happy camper right now

Purchased the printer less than 1 month ago, and it is not recognizing any EPSON 220 Magenta ink cartridge!! Went and bought some more ink, thinking that someone at the office changed it already, but didn't throw the old cartridge out, but now it is telling me the same thing on the one I just took out of the brand new package... Ugh!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall a well made machine that does it all. The only problem is that the ink cartridges run out way too fast. When they say the ink cartridge prints a certain number of pages, I can only imagine that they mean the printer can print one letter on each page. To assume it prints a complete page at that number is absurd. Constantly buying ink cartridges. It's like all printers really, but these printer cartridges really do not hold a lot of ink at all. I suggest buying the XL cartridges. They last a little longer. So, like all printers it, itself is a good working inexpensive all-in-one, but the ink costs will kill you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kind of unhappy. I bought the printer because it is WiFi, but I can't use it that way and still have a cable connection to my desktop computer, which has no WiFi connection. Also, the scan function is very complicated and doesn't allow for me to enter the file name and destination before scanning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is without a doubt the worst printer I have ever owned or used. I have used many printers and this is the first one I can't even make a simple copy. Can't use it wired or wirelessly. It will sometimes print from the computer. Have no complaints about the print quality, but bought it to copy and scan some things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this printer since a different model was not available.
I really like this printer. It does everything, print, scan, fax, and best of all is wireless. Set up was a little challenging but doable. The printing is clear, crisp and dry.

Setup instructions are not Clear or complete

This Printer's setup instructions and documentation is way too limited. Unclear instructions leave you with nowhere to turn. System seems to be failing and not connecting. WI_FI connection says failed but the symbol shows connected. No help information is provided if things are unclear or failing. REQUIRES High Tec knowledge

Bought this printer for the business because we needed a new printer but we needed a printer that had faxing capabilities plus scanning and printing. The ink cartridges for this printer are so little and thin which makes them easy to put into the printer but I hate that we have to buy ink for this printer every other day it seems like even though we print very little. Also on top of that it will not let us print things if the yellow is out of ink or the magenta is out of ink. Which I don't understand being as how I just need the black ink, why cant I use the black ink? Why do I have to replace all the ink cartridges before I can use the black ink. Over all its an okay printer

I regret buying this printer. I have owned many printers over the years and this is on the bottom of my list. for efficiency and user friendliness. I also bought an Epson WF-3640 and I would rate it about a 3 star performer.
