Print head cloggs

I have only had this printer for about 3 months. I have used it maybe 4 or 5 times when i went through the ink that comes with it. I purchased new ink, used it once (on 10 pages of a document, no pictures, no color), and now its saying print head is clogged and that I need more ink. This has got to be the worst printer ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to set up Wi Fi connection with Mac OS X

iMac OS 10.7.5, recognized the printer IP address but only as a FAX machine. The User Manual says for wi fi connection problems to refer to the Network Connection Manual, of which there is NONE for this printer (not part of the manual downloads and could not find one on Epson website). Fortunately live Epson phone support person was able to walk me through the connection fix (requiring a renaming of the printer in the IP address window), and now it works fine. Print and copy quality is excellent, scan quality is only fair, unless dpi numbers are cranked up resulting in huge document file. Good choice for a home printer for the price.

I've just started my own business and had to buy some office equipment. I'm a blue collar guy, that is usually working with my hands. I bought the EPSON without any real knowledge of the product. After I got it out of the box, it was smooth sailing from there. Set up was easy. The registration and hooking up my phone and computer to it was quick. The wireless printing is great, and the unit is quiet. I can scan invoices, attach to statements, and email my customers in a flash. I would recommend this to anyone. It makes a huge difference when it is easy, its plug and play.

Not user friendly

The printer was easy to set up, and the print quality is ok. There were no instructions with the printer beyond installation and connecting to wifi. I have had several issues in the first 2 weeks with paper settings. For no apparent reason the settings changed and it is very difficult to find the way to reset them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The first one that I bought didn't work proper, so I called them and checked it out with me. They sent me another on right away now I am very happy. This one does everything that I expected. It is so easy to operate.
