Overall good printer

Set up for wireless printing was easy and the printing I have done so far has come out well. I only have two issues with this printer so far: 1. it is very loud and noisy when printing and 2., it was difficult to figure out how to print in mirror mode for a t-shirt transfer- took me about an hour and now I have to go in and unclick mirror mode each time I print.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson's printers

Epson's do have very good printers this is not my first one. But on the directions on this model I suggest that you put the cd disc in first and follow the directions and not you the on screen from the printer. It's small and dosen't take up much room that's a plus. It would be nice if they had a separate tray to hold the 4 x 6 photo paper.

This wireless printer was so easy to set up and get going! I love being able to print from anywhere I am using my laptop in my apt without having to get up to push any buttons or to have to be in the same room!! Love it!!

Had to return printer and get another one after 2 hours of trying to get it to print just a test page (it never did) it ran out of ink and never printed anything on paper. How can it run out of ink and the ink was never used? This second printer is working a little better with the printing. I guess its just old ink maybe from sitting in the box for too long. Everything else is working fine.

Problems already

Just got Epson 2650 all in one printer not three weeks ago and already having problems with printer and scanner. Worst of all tried to register product with service plan and couldn't do that online. Had to reinstall product all over again.
Bummer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Workforce WF2650 printer

It appears so far that the instruction manual is not particularly clear, at least with regard to direct copying. A specific example: I am trying to do a very simple copying job. When trying this, the copier screen states that the paper source setting is invalid. I then followed the 10 step instructions in the manual for "paper source setting", and tried copying again, with the same result. Interestingly enough, the printer prints from the computer with no problems.
I find it frustrating that a simple job like copying should be so difficult to set up; this colors my opinion of the whole system.
My bonafides - I've been using home computers since the early 1980, and have never had any problem with setting up a printer. Ever. This is a first.

can not get the epson 2650 to fax long distance

i have long distance phone service through verison and they tell me my phone lines are fine because i can call long distance. fax works locally but not long distance.

First time out and install

So far I am very pleased with the printer which is faster than the one I replaced.
Printing so far, is as good as Epsom advertises it to be.
Install was fast up to latest drivers for printing, but did not take too long to obtain.
Connecting automatically to my router/ internet was automatic and fast also.
Scans look fine after one tryout.
For price, impressed.
