I would say that this printer is a good home printer, with the added bonus of several work place functions like printing double sided pages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Every time I go to use it all settings have changed. When I set it to print 2 sides it may or may not depending on its mood. If it does it may stop half way through and you have to pull paper out with force.

This is a good printer. Takes a little bit of time to set up. The ink is easy to load and inexpensive. The only thing I have a hard time with is getting the printer to fax from my cell phone. That process takes too long for me. Good product.

This model printer works great. And I intend to stay an Epson consumer because of my wonderful experience. I am mildly disappointed thou, it does not include a page diverter in the ADF, to easily scan or copy 2 sided documents. Therefore, I give 4 of 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is not a friendlly to use printer. With constants software changes, and difficult to keep settings that are removed when updattes occurs, it makes my liife diifficult. Currently i can print, but the print setting changes continuosly for the paper size. I can not copy, the printer tells me that my paper settings are not good for my copy, although i change it again and again. I will return it to the store.

This printer gets "lost" within its own topics. I am not able to print an 81/2x14" page. And, after about 10 months use, it now doesn't always print the number of pages I ask for. Yesterday, i asked for 10...it gave me 30?? Logistics are not great. Color reporduction is very good. So...for my use, I need it to perform without so many topic "glitches." And I sometimes need a 14"long page which I can't print. Not what I thought I purchased.

Printer was available at a reasonable price and came recommended by Staples representative. Once operating we find it harder to load paper than other printers and it goes into error signal frequently. Error signal appears to be from paper size. However, we have only ever used standard letter size paper so it does not make sense that error signal is tripped often. I would rate this as an acceptable low end printer but it certainly does not appear to be the quality construction of previous HP printer in same price range. I will add it appears to be economical on ink.
