Problems from the start. It print only when it wants to(and that isn't very often). It freezes up and leaves jobs in queue. I usually have to unplug it several times to get it to work. WORST printer I have ever owned.

Basic Setup Information

The enclosed booklet for set up is made for people with extended computer knowledge. I am 83 years old with only basic computer use know how. Why do you want to save paper explaining things to the ordinary person. I thought I set up my fax per your instructions, but now the printer ringds when someone calls my phone. I have no idea how to fix this.

I bought this based on price. My old printer ink was more expensive to refill than to buy this.. And replacement ink is cheap. Easy set up. Prints great. Wifi friendly. Love it!

Fast but loud

This is my first Epson printer. Setup from box to printing was less than 20 minutes. I've printed a few pages and the quality is great for a printer at this price point. My only complaint is the noise. When printing it's sounds like a freight train coming through my office. Hence the one star deduction. However, this would not prevent me from buying again.

Lousiest Printer I've Ever Owned

This thing is even worse than the printers that came out in the early to mid 90's. It doesn't matter what paper settings I use in the print dialogue or on the printer itself, every printout is proceeded by an error message that the print settings on the machine and on the computer don't match, and I have to manually bipass that. Draft quality prints are so pale you can barely read them; plus, it took over 15 minutes to print a 20 page document on draft because the printer ran some sort of cleaning or alignment process between each page. Even the high quality setting results in spotted printouts with lines missing--standard quality results in an unusable document because of the output quality issue. The printer refuses to recognize the print text as black setting when I print from Indesign, so all of the text has a magenta halo around it. The color output is horrible and certainly does not match the document--I've printed these same files on 4 other printers and never had this issue. It also has a paper feed issue which causes multiple pages to feed at once, but they are misaligned so half the document is on each page. I'm not even sure if I have covered all of the problems I've had with this printer, but long story short, after a month of use, I'm throwing it in the trash and buying from another company. Waste of money, waste of time, and creator of much stress.
