Three issues with this printer that are negative
1. uses too much ink
2. Too many commands just to get a copy done.
3. Freeze's where you have to unplug power cord.

ever since we did the 1st change of the black ink cartridge we have had about every 8th line of text not printing clearly

I work from home and I was looking for a printer in my budget. I have owned several printers and it was all a waste of me. I found this Epson 2650 do be the best of the best. It gets the job done and it still working after a year of over working it. Excellent product
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely Disapointed

1.) Replacing ink cartridges is a real pain because the instructions are not consistent with actual operation.
2.) I forget how to get to the "Replace Cartridges" and end up calling for help.
3.) It seems that I am changing ink cartridges more frequently than my old printer.
4.) There are these periods when the printer is going through some programmed sequence that takes several seconds and it is very noisey! Gears and wheels turning!
5.) Scan operation is more complex than old printer.

Newer is not always better

We bought this printer less than a year ago. It started out printing pretty well, although it uses ink like a sponge absorbs water. It has turned out to be very temperamental. It has decided not to play nicely with my favorite print program (Picasa), with which it used to work fine. It is very picky about the paper you put in it, meaning it does not process all paper well.
I have used my Mom's older WF545, and the pictures are better, the ink use is a little better, and the machine generally plays well with different programs and is not temperamental about the paper like this one is.
This printer can be very frustrating to use. I would not recommend it.

Infuriating machine

This is without doubt the worst printer I have ever had. It continually doesn't work, jams for no reason, takes forever to open, close, cancel, install, etc. I am beyond fed-up with it.
