Installing Ink Cartridges First Time

The new owners guide does not tell you that after you install the ink cartridges that you have to press the start button on the right had side. The guide also does not tell you whether to press one or both start buttons. The information on Epson web site with respect to this issue is of no help at all. It simply omits telling you about this step.

This printer stinks

Biggest waste of $ ever. Worst purchase I've ever made. Constantly runs out of ink. Poor wireless communications with all of my computers. I have had it for a month and I'm throwing it out.

Trouble out of the box.

Problems -
1. Fax would not work with my MagicJack
2. Scanner couldn't find network even though printer worked fine.
3. Wouldn't copy giving error message: "Paper source setting is invalid." There's only one tray, how invalid could it be?

I use Epson printer s and products exclusively. They are reliable easy to use and have great print quality. My other printer is an Epson 3880 photo printer with which I am well satisfied. The workforce is handy for my other printing needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

instructions for setup are not very clear to understand. Needs information on how to select things during setup on printer display. paper also does not load well. had to reinsert the paper cartridge multiple times to get it to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor printer

The ink cartridge that came with this printer was skipping lines by the 10th doc.
There are no directions for dealing with trouble.
I had to muddle about trying to figure out an error that kept sending me in a loop about having the wrong paper in the source box. no definition of what the paper source container is or how to clear the error.
