setup was rather simple. a little bit too simple i hope it gets the job done. off that bat this thing is pretty loud. but i don't have a reference point to compare with. hopefully I'm not using this thing much or I'm probably going to find a quieter one.

I should be able to open and install the printer and hit the copy button and it should copy. It would not it had to initial some setting screen that would not set until I hit the stop/reset button. You need to fix that software.\\

Worst. Printer. Ever

I've had the printer for 6 months. Randomly decides to not print or not copy at times, shows an error that cannot be found or cleared from the online help. Really really frustrating when you just want a simple printer/copier to do the very basic functions of printing what's on the computer screen or copying a single page. For your own sanity, do NOT buy this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
